Library Report |

For the Summer and Fall program, the plan is to have a live author at every King Country Library during a 2-week period. The system does not have sufficient funds, so it may ask the Friends for financial support. |

Plan to review the plans for the new library during the 1st week in July. It is expected that the permits will be issued in September, pushing the start of construction back 4 months. The 6 benches for the new library will be discussed in June. |

Stephen King's, 'The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon'. A 9-year-old girl gets lost while hiking on the Appalachian Trail with her mother and brother. Maintains her sanity by listening to Boston Redsox games on her walkman. A book that appeals to readers that may not be Stephen King fans. |
