Book Talk is progressing nicely - there were 15 guests for last Friday's session. Construction continues on the new Library. Issues with adjoining properties are being addressed as they come up. |

Memorial for former KCLS superintendent. Raven sculpture. $24,000 price tag. Group has half the money. The Friends will assist the group in their effort to purchase this art. Basically, the group will direct their contributions to the Friends and the Friends will coordinate the purchase of the sculpture for the new library. |

Benches for the new library |

The Friends will assist in the acquisition of the granite benches for the new Library. The Art budget for the Library will cover most [or all] of the costs, the Friends will make up a reasonable shortfall. |

The books have been delivered. Becky believes that there will be sufficient volunteers for this Spring's event. |
