Library Report

Problems continue. The contractor and the city are working to get First Place NW open for the Christmas shopping season.

The teen mystery night (10-20) was popular. The Friends provided Pizza for the 35 teens that attended.

Chris asked if it would be possible for the Friends to support some additional adult programs. We responded that this was very appropriate and asked Chris to prepare a budget for 2001. The proposal will include all programs (children, teen, adult, holiday).

A bench has been sold, only 7 more to go.

We will schedule an election of officers for the January meeting.

Book Sale

Bob will schedule the room for a book sale at the end of February, 2001. If we have a February sale this year, then we will probably move the spring sale to June.
