The brand new Volvo S-40 we rented for the trip to Oregon. Not a bad car if you can overlook the fact that it rides and handles like a truck. Accelerates like a sports car and has lots of fun gadgetry, though.
I was kind of overwhelmed by the number of strange electronic devices around my desk this day. On the floor are a dual-cpu build machine, and my normal pc. On the desk is my new laptop. Behind it you can just see the switch through which it's sharing network access with my build machine. Then there's my palm, a digital clock, and way in the back a port replicator so the build machine, laptop and other pc can all share one monitor/keyboard/mouse combination. On the desk under the monitor is the still-in-use Sun Sparc 10 workstation. So 5 computers if you count the palm. I must be really important.
