Riding home tonight, I saw a small gray furry creature in the middle of the path. I circled back to get a better look and he turned to face me, sitting in the middle of the path, seemingly untroubled by my headlight. He's maybe a couple of inches long. I rummaged in my pack to get at my camera (didn't think I'd need it riding home in the dark at 8:30pm). By the time I'd gotten it out he'd wandered off into the rough, but I snapped a couple of shots for the heck of it. This is with the camera flash from about a foot away from the little bugger who you can see as the slightly-less-overexposed grey blob in the blue circle ;-)
