Top looks wide awake, bottom looks half asleep...did you pose this, or is this a common occurrence?

The only "posed" pictures I've ever taken of these two are on the Tomecat home page and that was such a trial I've never bothered again.

This pose is pretty common in the winter time, not so much this time of year.

I need to go to work soon, so I hope I look more like the upper version, but I am feeling more like the lower one. Both look so pure and clean, healthy and at peace with the world. However, I think the lower cat is clearly meditating upon what the upper feline is just getting a look at, and hasn't decided yet whether it will be troublesome or not!
