At last

Cats lounging in the sun

It’s been a long time since we had sunshine like this. Picture by Becky.

Who goes there?

Cat peeking through the handle of a laundry basket

Lightroom’s red eye removal tool doesn’t work worth a damn on green eye.

Parallel parking

I really need to get proactive about taking some better pictures. All the cute ones I have are alternate takes of things that have already been up here which I suppose would still be better than this kind of boring shot, but you would not believe the hassling I get in email if there isn’t a kitty picture on the blog come Saturday morning.

Zindzi

black cat lounging on a fuzzy shelf

This is our friend Karen’s cat Zindzi who died last week. She had him since he was a kitten, 20 years ago! He was a sweet boy and will be sorely missed.

Reading our feeds

Hope all the kitties’ fans in CA made it through the big storm okay.

Oh, and Gillian, see, it’s not just you.

Think I need to clean off my desk.

Chin rest

Cat with his chin resting on his owner's hand

Theo is never happier than when he can tie you down by resting his chin on your hand or arm.

Stacked

bearded dude with two small cats stacked on his crossed arms

Another from back when the babies were small. I can’t imagine how we must have gotten into this position.

Monitoring

two cats stacked on top of a CRT

This picture is from back when Alice and Theo were only about a year old. Now there are no CRT monitors left in the house (there’re a couple on the bikeport waiting to go to recycling, but none in the house). Also neither cat would tolerate this much contact with the other any more. Which is too bad since the only thing cuter than a couple of kitties is a couple of kitties stacked on top of each other.
