Not much of a picture, but I was lucky to catch her at all. Alice has a very finely developed sense of propriety and while in her mind it’s okay for her to do the silliest things, it is decidedly not okay for anyone to see her doing them. I got my camera out and got two shots off and the second is nothing but a blur jumping out of a wagon. Pumped the exposure up four whole stops and dramatically cropped in Lightroom, so that’s why it looks like it was painted by Monet before he had his cataract surgery. Do I get points for using the word “cataract” in a Friday cat blogging post?
I seldom see Alice quite as conked out as she was here.
Hey look, someone lolcatted Alice. Not exactly a gem of the genre, and you’d have a hard time pulling a more boring picture from my archives, but still, my little girl is all famous. <sheds a little tear>
For those who don’t know what lolcats are, here’s a link to the Wikipedia writeup. icanhascheeseburger.com is one of the better sources of quality lolcattage. I’ve been subscribed to their RSS feed for a while and was only a little startled to see my own cat in the feed this afternoon. To be honest, I’m a little surprised it’s taken this long. Of course I might be missing some other captioned versions of our kitties. Seems like some of these nutty pictures are just begging for it.
I know this looks like it was taken moments after the last cat picture I posted a couple of weeks ago, but you’ll have to trust me that they were taken almost two weeks apart. Sorry about posting so many sleeping pictures. I need to get the camera out on one of the rare occasions when they’re conscious.
